How to Apply, How to Store

Note: We use a water-based non-toxic paint rated safe to handle to the ANSI rating in the USA for children.
How to apply to glass:
*Clean and dry the glass surface.
*Carefully cut open bag at sides, avoid cutting the art!
*Peel out and place on glass, smooth out all bubbles with fingers and tamp the edges down.
Details: If it is not sticky it is probably cold. Place a warm cloth over it or gently heat it only for a few seconds with the lowest setting of the hair dryer, (you can easily scorch it). Once warmed it will become very sticky and you can firmly press all the edges down. Take care not to stretch it, if it is too warm it will droop and is too difficult to handle. It will firm up when cooler at room temperature.
Storage:
Place each one in a zip loc bag, squeeze out the air and smooth out the bag over it as a wrinkled bag will create wrinkles on the paint. Store flat without objects pressing on it, do not fold. Folding will cause a crease. Always store each one seperately as they will stick together!
Screens:
Disclaimer:This paint is made for glass and does not naturally stick to anything else, however, some people use the following method for screens.
*Place each piece back to back over the screen, they will barely stick together through the screen.
*Now heat it up gently with a few seconds of a hair dryer on lowest heat setting.
*Press together with something flat like two pieces of wood until the pieces bond, this will take a minute or two. (Don't use paper books as this will stick.)
*When you cannot peel them apart the two peices have bonded together and you are done. The result is permanent and might not remove easily if at all.
This is a great way to fix a hole in a screen as well but it is not reversable and will not peel off the way it does from glass. WildWindows is not responsible for any losses due to this!
